1937
Jarvis Johnson, 2, joined other children in a demonstration at Fisher No. 1 on Jan. 10, 1937, showing support for their parents taking part in the Sit-Down Strike. Jarvis was the son of Kermit Johnson, one of the leaders at Chevrolet Plant 4. Other children carried signs reading 'My daddy is a union man,' 'We’re behind our dads 100 percent' and 'Our dads will win!'
